I’m Jehan/Zhen, your head mod of the fanzine. I'm a trans-masc writer from Bulgaria. I am modding/have created over ten zines and Musical Theatre is truly my life so this zine is a DREAM. I did it professionally for nine years and now pursue it as a minor and still perform and tour in university despite my studies being in prosecution. A real Legally Blonde moment. Outside of musicals and AA, I adore geography, horror analog & my girlfriend!

Hi y’all, I’m Elliot, and I’ll be your Writing Mod for this amazing zine! I’ve modded two other AA zines (Intellectually Attracted and Where I Can Follow) and written for In the Shadow of the Incident. I’m a non-binary creature who makes their home near the Atlantic Ocean in Canada. I’ve been obsessed with musicals for a long time, and have yet to find anything that else that makes me feel quite the way a good musical does. Ace Attorney is my latest hyperfixation and this train ain’t gonna stop anytime soon (I’m nicknamed the CEO of FranMaya y’all)! Besides Ace Attorney I like speculative fiction and am interested in systems failures and library science.

Hello! I'm Panda and I'll be an art mod for this zine! I draw and nap a lot on a daily basis. I especially enjoy drawing my latest obsessions, which in this case would be Ace Attorney at the moment. I can't even pick a favourite character since they're all babies and super precious!
SHADOW MOD: ROWAN

Hi! I'm Rowan and I'm the Shadow Mod for this zine! I am relatively new to zines and so I will be 'shadowing' the other mods to get a sense of what it's like and provide some motivation for everyone involved. It's hard to pick my favourite Ace Attorney characters, but I am your local Franziska, Maya and Klavier Enthusiast and Nahyuta and Aura Apologist. I consider myself an Almost-Theatre Kid (I would've been one if my school had a decent theatre department) and, of course, I love musicals and ahem "slime tutorials" on youtube.

Full-time book designer and hobbyist illustrator, I got into theatre in general about 8 years ago, especially in costuming, as it was spurred by my love for cosplay. I was involved in my high school theatre costume department for a couple years, but now enjoy it from the seats (though I greatly miss those days bts). My sibling also studied and works in costumes, so I’m able to live vicariously through them

HOW DID YOU/WILL YOU DECIDE THE CHARITY?
All of our Mods adore Musical Theatre and have a deep love and/or history with it. Some of us are also performers and/or have done production/crew for over eight years. We all know how much community theatre provides accessible, safe, loving environments for those in their district. All of these theatres also are non-profit and run based solely on volunteer work, ticket sales and donations especially. We would love to give back to the theatres that provided us with so much.

CAN TWO DIFFERENT PIECES DO THE SAME MUSICAL?
We are trying to avoid that with how many incredible shows there are, we would prefer that no show gets repeated in our zine to give shine to other musicals, however if we have a merch idea and a writing idea that share the same show we may allow this once or twice if they are clearly passionate to do so! Of course if you do a collab you will do the same piece, that is not a problem!
IS THERE AN AGE-MINIMUM?
Due to the rating of the zine we ask that all applicants be 16+ however if you are 15 and turning 16 by the time that emails are sent then you may apply!
WILL THIS ZINE HAVE SPOILERS?
This zine may imply certain spoilers for the Ace Attorney and TGAA franchise depending on the musical material and ideas presented by contributors so we do warn that if you are expecting a zine completely free of spoilers that they may present themself.
